Yuk!!!! 3:30am pickup for the train station for the start of our longest train leg. It will take us 2 days and 5 hours to Irkutsk. Our guide obviously tired dropped us off at the platform and left us to our own devices.
Fortunately we are starting to feel OK being out of our comfort zone.
As it tuned out our two carriage attendants who we nicked names "Svetlana 1 and 2" spoke a little English.
Our carriages were a little older than our last train with 4 berths in our cabin (which we had to ourselves), and was quite comfortable.
We braced ourselves for the long trip in the restaurant car with breakfast.
And so watched the world go by.
